The Australian Working Holiday visa offers young travellers the opportunity to spend a year travelling around Australia, whilst supplementing their funds through temporary or casual work. (Note, You cannot work for one employer for more than six months)
The Australian Government loves working holiday travellers and in the last few years they have changed the rules to enable travellers with Working Holiday Visas to stay an extra year longer.
Provided you have spent 3 calendar months (or a minimum of 88 days on and off), working in designated regional parts of Australia doing what the Immigration Department refer to as ‘Specified Work’, then you could be eligible to apply for an extra year working in Australia.
